The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Sites are places of outstanding cultural or natural importance to the common heritage of humanity.The programme was founded with the Convention Concerning the Protection of World Cultural and Natural Heritage which was adopted by the General Conference of UNESCO on 16 November 1972 in Paris.
Pakistan ratified the convention on 23 July 1976, making its historical sites eligible for inclusion on the list. Since then, UNESCO has designated six sites in Pakistan as World Heritage Sites and eighteen sites are on the tentative list.
The first sites to be inducted in the list were Archaeological Ruins at Moenjodaro, Buddhist Ruins of Takht-i-Bahi and Neighbouring City Remains at Sahr-i-Bahlol, and Taxila, all three of which were inscribed as places of cultural significance in 1980. In 1981 two other sites, Fort and Shalamar Gardens in Lahore and Historical Monuments at Makli, were inscribed. The last site to be designated as a World Heritage Site was Rohtas Fort in 1997. All the six inscribed and eighteen tentative sites are listed under the cultural category.

Drive to Larkana via Bhit Shah & Kot DG.Visit the Shrine of Bhit Shah and listen to the Sufi songs, at the KOT DG visit the fort in detail which may become a world heritage site soon. Overnight at Moen Jo Daro guest house.
Tour of Mohen Jo Daro (World Heritage site) and Larkana later continue to Sukkur. Overnight stay at hotel.
Drive to Multan and overnight stay at hotel.
In morning tour of Multan visit the mausoleum of Shah Rukn-e-Alam later drive to Lahore. Overnight stay at hotel.
Breakfast at Hotel. Morning tour of Lahore visit Lahore Museum, Delhi gate Bazaar, Wazir Khan Mosque, and Anarkali mosque. Afternoon drive to Islamabad and on arrival transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Breakfast at hotel. Morning sightseeing of Twin cities Rawalpindi & Islamabad, visit the Shah Faisal Mosque, an excellent Model of the Modern Muslim architecture, Shakaparian View point, Folk heritage museum, after that drive through the government buildings and visit the Raja bazaar. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Full day Excursion to Taxila & Takht bhai both are World heritage sites later return to Islamabad and overnight at hotel.
Breakfast at hotel Short tour of Lakeview Park and Jinnah super market for last minute shopping, transfer to airport for flight to home.
